The ugg boot apparently originated in rural Australia in the 1920's. At that time, no one bothered to register the term 'ugg' as it was a considered a term that was common and used by people in the 'ugg' sheepskin industry.

I bought these boots because I didn't want to pay 7 million dollars for Uggs and I'm very happy with my purchase. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn and I've worn them every day since I received them. I got them in sand and the color is exactly what I wanted and exactly what is pictured. The only recommendation I have is to order them a size higher than you normally wear. I normally wear a size 8, I ordered them in a 9, and they fit perfectly.
